Quick Mountain Overnight
A few days before Miles was born 8 years ago, James Keith and I paid a visit to the local Pipe & Pint to pick up a special beer to enjoy on the day Miles joined us in this world - a 12.7 oz Mikkeller Barrel Aged Stout $14 bottle. Needless to say, we never got around to enjoy the beverage. After 8 years in the refrigerator, I decided last night was the night to crack her open.
Life has come a long way for all in this picture with each owning some rocky roads, but thankful for celebrations along the way with more to come!
Together we clanked our mini, ceramic mugs filled with oil sludge in hopes of avoiding death. With a cheers and a sip, we nearly vomited as one.
Cheers to friendship, rocky roads, celebrations, family, 8 year old sludge beer that tasted like a used band aid, taking chances, and the future...oh and Miles of course!!
