Hmm?

Kids in bed for a good 2 hours already.  We walk upstairs and find this.  Kennedy in our bed with all her bedding not quite making it all the way.  Never a dull moment with this 5 year old!

Thinking like a 5 year old.

Sometimes I wish I had the mind or was allowed to think like a 5 year old.  Yesterday we went to Disney Frozen on Ice at the Greensboro Coliseum.  At the end, Kennedy says, "Do they all go back to Disney World now?"

Adventure Race for Daddy...

Jumped back into my 3rd adventure sprint race today.  2 Mile Paddle.  5 Mile Run.  8 Mile Mountain Bike.  I was able to pull of 4th place without any training thanks to a 3 week long cold!!!  Maybe I'll train for the next??

Silly.

Last dance class, but more to come.

1st Day of Kindergarten!

Today, Kennedy started her first day at Morehead Elementary (expressive arts magnet school).  First of many changes to come.  This is the first day that I didn't take her to daycare with me since she came into this world.  Honestly, it was a bit weird and slightly tough.  Now Amy gets joy of taking the reins now by taking her to school each day.

The early report this morning from Amy says that Kennedy walked right into her room, hung up her backpack and went straight to her place at the table...almost forgot to give mommy a hug!  That's a good thing!  This girl is going to do amazing things in her life.  She's going to turn heads.  She is going to pick people up when they fall.  At times she will also fall down, but, in the end, she will keep moving forward by putting others first.  Here we go!  Proud of you Curly Girl!
