Garden Comparison Photos

Thought I'd load up a couple before and current photos of the garden. The corn is flying high and the watermelon and the cucumber are doing well on the trellis so far. The squash is about to pop, too! The other veggies planted to the left of the corn drowned after a large rain a few weeks ago. The ground sunk in this spot creating a perfect water catchment area. No worries. We'll have enough corn to feed the church when all is said in done.

This darn "barn" is a blessing and a curse all in one! Blessing because Kennedy played this thing for 30 minutes and was highly entertained. However it is a true curse for a parent's ears. I actually left Kennedy with Amy while so I could go to the store. I came back 25 minutes later and she was still playing with this darn thing while Amy was changing her diaper. We also learned to NOT TAKE IT AWAY! She's very serious about her music!

Watching Kennedy crawl makes my knees hurt!

We've been teaching her how to push the buttons with her hands by physically taking her hand and pushing them. Now she reaches out for you to grab her hand before pushing them. You'll notice she can push them with her feet, too.
